COVID-19 CANCELLATION AMENDMENT

In the event that we are required to close our doors, we’re happy to reschedule or refund all bookings at no additional cost.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible.

Any cancellations made 21 days or more in advance of the arrival date will receive a full refund* (minus the initial deposit applicable for group bookings [of three or more rooms]). Any cancellations made between 7 and 21 days in advance of the arrival date will receive a 50% refund* (minus the initial deposit applicable for group bookings [of three or more rooms]). Any cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will not be refunded.* Alternatively, guests may reschedule their stay up to 96 hours prior to their arrival date (subject to a £50 admin fee)

* Please Note: Saorsa 1875 is donating 5% of the gross booking price of all bookings made throughout November and December 2023 to The Vegan Society. As such, bookings made in November and December 2023 will incur a 5% retention fee of the gross booking price in the event of a cancellation at any point before your stay, with the amount being donated to The Vegan Society as a charitable donation.

Guests who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit the full amount of the booking. It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday/cancellation insurance where required.

In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.

For group bookings for 3 or more rooms please be aware that we require 21 days notice of cancellations or amendments. These changes are only ever dependent on availability and changes or cancellations of any kind made within the 21 days period are non-refundable.

As we know you will understand we are a small but very busy boutique hotel and, as such, need to adopt this cancellation policy to allow us time to replace your booking. Thanks for your understanding, it is much appreciated.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

Guests who wish to reschedule a booking should contact us as soon as possible. Requests made 96 hours or less are made at the discretion of the hotel and will incur a £50 fee.

RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms and conditions for our retreats (including [but not limited to] yoga, Hogmanay, and Christmas) differ slightly from our standard terms and conditions. Please click here for further information.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is 11 am.

BOOKING POLICY

To make a reservation we require card details. Your card will then be charged immediately. All bookings made under special promotions are non-refundable. Promotions cannot be redeemed in conjunction with another promotion or discount.

ROOM OCCUPANCY & EXTRA GUESTS

Please be aware that all of our double rooms are reserved for single or double occupancy only. Due to safety implications and housekeeping requirements, any guest found to be in breach of this double or single occupancy rule will be subject to an extra fee upon checkout.

MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS

We often operate a 2-night minimum on Friday & Saturday nights, Bank Holidays and special events. We are sometimes able to make exceptions for last-minute availability – to enquire please email our reservations team.

HEN/STAG POLICY

For the comfort of our other guests, we ask that we be made aware of any Hen or Stag parties at the time of booking, and we may refuse the booking if we feel it may compromise the enjoyment of our other guests. If you book for a Hen or Stag party without notifying us before the booking we reserve the right to refuse the booking upon arrival.

NO SMOKING POLICY

Saorsa 1875 is 100% smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel building. Should it be brought to our attention that smoking has taken place, a cleaning fee of £250 will be assessed.

UNAUTHORISED PARKING

Any unauthorised vehicles not belonging to guests that are parked on the Saorsa 1875 premises without prior written consent will be issued with a fine of £20 per day.

LOST KEYS?

A charge of £45 will be taken in the event of a lost key. This covers the change of lock, key fob and the cost of a new key.

LOST PROPERTY

We are more than happy to post any lost items subject to the costs of postage. Due to the high volume of lost property, we reserve the right to give to charity or dispose of lost property if it is unclaimed 2 weeks from the stay date.

DAMAGES

We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage done to your room during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.

GIFT VOUCHERS

This voucher features a unique reference ID code, may only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable, please quote the gift voucher ID reference when reserving your room at Saorsa 1875. Subject to availability. Valid 12 months. Terms & conditions are subject to change.

Any special offer gift vouchers are not redeemable against any special events (e.g. retreats/festive packages) and cannot be combined with other special offers (e.g. discounts on stays).

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect data about how our site is searched to enable us to understand and respond to the needs of our users. This data does not contain personally identifiable information. You can visit our site without identifying yourself or disclosing any personal information.

If you do sign up for our mailing list, your data will not be disclosed to any company outside of Saorsa Group Ltd and we will only contact you about Saorsa 1875 and our other ventures.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

The Saorsa 1875 site includes a variety of materials created by different members of the Saorsa Group team. Although these works may be freely accessible on the World Wide Web and may not include any statement about copyright, the works are nevertheless protected by copyright. Users must assume that works are protected by copyright until they learn otherwise.

PAYMENT POLICY

Credit card details are entered on a secured page and are transferred using SSL to our payment provider.
